I'm doing something for me...
But I need your help.
Ok, I finally made the decision to buy myself a digital camera.
Amazon has two cams on sale.
They have this one, a Canon PowerShot A460 5.0MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom (Silver)
If I do not buy either of these in say, the next 3 hours, I'll spend the next 6 months having mom guilt, and not buying one at all.
Help me pick the best one!

If I were going to buy one of these two for myself, I'd pay a little more and get the Sony. More megapixels and all.

I had Chris review both cameras and the Sony is the better camera. Good for you buying something for yourself.

And it has higher megapixels that means better quality pictures.. and I know that is a concern for you:)

Go for the Sony Cybershot! My brother-in-law has one, and it takes great photos.

I have had a Sony in the past and they are awesome. I would go for that one anyway since it has the most mp.

I have a Sony at this very moment, and just love it to pieces. Mine is the DSC600...its my baby for the time being. I am not too sure on the Canon but I do stand behind my Sony. If you go to my blog and my flickr, you can see the results of some of the photos.

I would say get an Olympus camera because they are the best in my own opinion, but out of the two, I would definitely go with the Sony.

We have a Canon camera, not that particular one but I have no problems with it and recommend Canon.

I'm behind on this but I'd like to throw in my two cents. One of my digital cameras is a Sony Cybershot (DSC-h5) and I love it. If you went with the Cybershot you'll probably be very happy. Oh and you should be able to take video with the camera too.

I would have recommended the 7.2 mp camera, but I was too late reading this post, and anyway I would have asked you about the respective prices first.
