My Single Mom Life

As most of you know by now, I was supposed to go to Las Vegas in November for a convention, but due to a whole slew of really skeevy behavior, bad vibes, and just totally shitty buisiness practices, I won't be going.
One of the main reasons I wanted to go was so that I could meet all kinds of really awesome people I had "met" through blogging, see Vegas (OMGDZ!) and catch a show, take a tour of some of the Las Vegas luxury homes, and hope to run into a few celebs.
Ya know, maybe Keanu was gonna be in town that weekend.
Psh right!

So anyway, I won't be going in November, but I may still go to the blogger party in March.
I mean, I need to see Vegas before I die y'all!!
I'd like to see Siegfried and Roy before another one of their tigers attacks, a magic show, a traditional showgirl show, and all that stuff.
I will miss out on meeting all the other bloggers who are still going in November, but hey, I just have to stick to what I know is right for me to do.
I know others have said screw the reason we were going, now we're going just to hang out with friends, but I can't even ignore the reason this convention is being held.
Like, my moral fibers are telling me not to be a hypocrite, so I'm not going.
And maybe, just maybe, I got out right in time.
It was seriously starting to be cult like, and I was tired of the two faced bs going on, and all that butt kissin' too.
And once I looked at all of that with fresh open wide eyes, I totally could see what other people were complaining about.
Like for real see it, and wow, I'm ashamed of myself for ever having been part of that.
