I'm starting to get upset.
The new extra hour of the Today Show debuted today at noon est.
The TV Guide says that at 1pm, Days of Our Lives comes on.
At 2pm, it's to be announced, meaning no show is slotted.
From 3pm on, it simply says local programming.
Where is Passions?
The switch to the 101 on Direct TV, was not supposed to happen until the 17th.
Passions is not on any of the lineup.
This is making me sad.
I'm so totally going to miss this show and all it's witch craft, and baby mama drama, and murders and stuff.
NBC was airing the episodes on line, but once it switches, there are no plans to air any of the episodes on line for people who don't have DTV.
I'm sure I'll totally get over it, but seriously, did we really need another hour of the Today Show?
And did it really need to come on at noon?
Why didn't they just dump that stupid 10am crappy Daytime show, stick the 4th hour in that time slot, so it would have been 4 consecutive hours of Today, then do the local news, then Montel, then Passions, then DOOL, then RR, then Oprah?
The Daytime show is freaking stupid, and they would have been able to keep Passions on NBC, and not force the switch the DTV.
Why did they keep the gay show, and get rid of Passions?!?

I know I am so upset myself. I don't care to watch an extra hour of the same news we have heard the 3 previous hours. And on top of that, our local news station expanded an extra half hour....grrrr. Did you by chance watch it on Friday?? with the whole Ethan and Theresa thing?

I missed it, but it is available on nbc, I can watch that later. But apparently, Friday was the last day for nbc on passions.

I never watched Passions, but I sometimes read about it on soap sites, it sounds like a good show.
I think it sucks big fat hairy smell donkey 'nads that it not only was removed from NBC, but that you have to subscribe to a specific service to get it. I bitched and moaned when all of the Red Sox games went over to NESN, but that channel can be gotten via cable or either of the major satellite services, or via Verizon FiOS (if we ever get it here). They're not forcing anyone to subscribe to any specific service to see the Sox games.
Also some people can't have a satellite dish even if they wanted and could afford one. When you rent, often the landlord will not allow it. Ours won't.
I agree that they don't need four freaking hours of the dumb-assed Today show. I can't even stand to watch that shit for five minutes.
From what I've read about Passions, it's a wickedly awesome, creatively written show. But I guess that's not what the sheeple of the world want to see...they just want to see the same old same old shit, and that's what NBC is giving them.
It sucks.
