Military dad can't save his children from abuse.
This is a story with local ties, the children are here in Florida, and the military dad is stationed in Alaska.
*WARNING* This video contains a graphic description of what the 5 year old daughter said during a medical examination.
Please use headphones if you have young children in the room.
Please, watch the video, digg the article, this is a call to action!
The story;
Your kids live nearly 5,000 miles away and experts are telling you they're being sexually and physically abused. This Father and all the officials in Alaska know what is going on. Judge J. Kevin Carey in Florida needs to take action to protect the helpless victims and punish the aggressor.
After hearing the child welfare agents state what the 5 year old daughter said during her medical exam, I have no doubt in my mind that this child has been either sexually abused, or been exposed to pornographic movies, or possibly even made to watch her mother have sex with the boyfriend.
No matter how she knows the language she spoke, I consider it abuse.
Not to mention the bruises and other statements the children have made.
This is the contact information for the judge.
I've already made a call to his office to ask that he thoroughly investigate this case.

Is there ever any good news coming out of our area?

WTF? No wonder Florida gets sued on a regular basis for negligent caseworkers that dismiss legit child abuse cases!!!

This hits home with me. Being Floridian, a teacher, a mother, and military, I detest anyone who harms an innocent child. So many times it seems high profile cases become power plays, instead of reaching some type of justice. I'm curious as to how the mother has explained the bruises. I'm curious of the step-father's background. Such a shame.

That judge should be ashamed of himself, and be removed from the bench.
I feel for that poor dad and his kids. What a horrific story.

Omg..that is crazy. So it's the mother and her boyfriend abusing the kids? That's messed up. I hope something is done about it.

you'd think the military would have some sort of legal aid assistance...

Goes almost without saying, but this situation is just intolerable. But then, I have experience with dealing with idiot bureaucrats who claim to be interested in protecting children from abuse, but have been literally told that unless something abusive/life-threatening is happening to a kid RIGHT THIS SECOND, "there's nothing we can do."
Yeah, right, that's "caring about kids." That's caring about kids in the same way that, oh, say... Algore is an arch-conservative or that Ronald Reagan was a tree-hugging liberal.
In other words: not true at all.
