Time for a new skillet again.
I go through electric skillets at the rate of one every 2 years. I love them because they don't require the use of all that electricity and wasted cooking heat, from using the stove top.
I placed my usual one on my wish list so I wouldn't forget to get it, but then I went looking for other ones, to see what else is out there, and came across berndes cookware.
It looks like nice stuff, but I don't see any electric skillets on their site.
Maybe they don't make them?
They do have a really nice 13 inch buffet skillet, but it requires stove top cooking.
I'll either keep looking, or just get my usual brand.

about six months ago my oldest daughter wanted a new electric skillet....it took me forever to find one...apparently they are not as popular as they once were.

I've never used one of those, but sounds like something I should invest in at some point....I am a HUGE fan of casseroles (well, I know those require ovens, but I have a microwave with a browning option) and one-skillet meals.
