I got tired of staring at white.

You may have to do a hard refresh. ctrl + F5 or ctrl + the refresh button in your browser.
It may still be pulling from your cache.
And man, does it look weird in IE.
But it's a weird I like. I wish I could pull off that odd thing in FF, but I know it's IE reading the CSS all funky.

It's still white to me. The only change I see is the ======
between the posts, which does look good. I like having a way to separate posts.

Ooops...I refreshed and now I see it. Not sure if I like it or not. I'm thinking it might be better if you lost the white in the main blog area and the sidebar, and change it to a much lighter shade of the background color. If you have image editing software with a color-picker, try picking a color from the header banner, one of the lighter ones, and go with that.
That might be less jarring on the eyes than the white on peanut butter.
Just my opinion! :-)

I'm on IE...it looks okay...I get a bit more white...but still looks good.

There, I removed the white in posts, sidebar, and changed the comments page.
I like it.

The colors are fine, but the way there is a big old space in the middle of the entire page underneath the header is very jarring.
