before I ever buy my first house.
I was talking on one of the many forums I frequent earlier, (yes, I'm still up, how are you all doing?) about home ownership and mortgage life insurance, and property insurance, and property taxes etc etc.
I had no idea just how much it costs to own your own home when you start adding in all the extra costs for insurance and property taxes, and HOA fees if you end up buying in one of those housing developments, which is pretty much everywhere you could buy a house around Florida these days.

It seems like every week, a new development is popping up.
All these little villages of homes, each with their own 'town center' for shopping and stuff, but they all have their own fees for stuff, then all the insurance things you have to have.

I saw a home for sale near my sister's house the other day, it was a really decent price because of the housing market right now and the fact that it's a much older home, not one in a new development, and started thinking about how I could afford my own home.
It's really not something I can pull off yet.
How depressing.
I'm tired of renting, but I don't make nearly enough money to pay all the extra costs.
I really should start giving some serious thought to re-entering the dating scene and possible marriage again.

Did I just say that?!?!
I must be in that freaky insomnia weird reality stage again.
Get re-married.
