My Single Mom Life: I've been enjoying the quiet.

« W00t! Got paid up! | Main | Bang bang! on your skull baby! »

I've been enjoying the quiet.

The boys went to bed at 10pm tonight, I finally had had enough, and sent them.
There are just some days that they get this way, cranky, moody, combative, and don't let it go.
When they get that way, I get the same way, and then there are three miserable people in the house for the night.
Probably doesn't really help that I have wicked cramps and a lower backache that won't quit, either.

We watched Chuck, Heroes, and then I watched Journeyman when they went to bed.
Not sure if I like Chuck, Heroes, not really sure where the new stories are going, and Journeyman is really kinda confusing.
It's like Quantum Leap meets that show where the guy would get tomorrows paper today, Early Edition.
He time travels to fix things, or at least he tries to.
I think it tries too hard.

It's the beginning of a new month, and so that means end of the month earnings posts on many blogs.
It's really none of my business what other people post to their blogs, but in a way it is, as a reader, I read those posts, and it's well, tacky.
A whole bunch of bloggers post their monthly earnings, they link to all the different paid to blog companies in one post, (tsk tsk, I know of one company who doesn't like this) and then list off their earnings from each, and then give us the grand total.
I did talk about the fact that I was owed money yesterday, but I made no mention of how much I was owed, or from whom.
I just think it's extremely tacky to discuss just how much you are getting paid.
Just say it was a good month, or bad month, or you need to work harder, but actual figures from every single place you work? Tack-y.

That's exactly what I said when I saw the previews this summer!

Chuck wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.
