My Single Mom Life: Migraine go go go away.

Migraine go go go away.

I took a very long shower earlier and noticed that one of the teens must have moved the shower faucets head around because it wasn't on it's usual setting of mid-pressure stream.
It has like 5 different settings ranging from a gentle rain type flow, to a full on hurricane blast.
I keep it at a mid-range downpour, and one of them set it to the lowest.
Do you have any idea how hard it is to rinse shampoo out of my hair when it's set like that?
I had to stop, rub the shampoo out of my eyes and reach up and change it back just to be able to get my hair rinsed out.
I like the trickly rain one, but not when doing my hair.
It just doesn't have the power to rinse it all out.

Yes Lisa, it was the little black box that brought on the migraine.
Thank you so much for sending it though!
That was so sweet of you to do, and everything in it was absolutely lovely.
All these wonderful handmade products of soaps, bath bombs, perfumes, gorgeous stuff, but there were 3 items in it that were definitely made with a very strong cinnamon scent and it nearly killed me...LOL

Look at all the beautiful stuff would you?
Really, great quality items, I was very impressed with how many items were jam packed in that box.
I did get an insta-migraine from the cinnamon scents, and one was vanilla, so in order to make sure this migraine doesn't stay, I gave the scents that hurt me, to one of the moms on the street behind me.
She was thrilled to get them. I explained why I couldn't keep them, and I didn't want to throw them out, and she was totally glad to take them.
I should know better at this time of year about scents
Holidays equal home time smells, cinnamon, apple spice, pine etc.
October through January are warm deep scents, February through May are light floral springy scents, June through September are usually light citrus, flower, bright scents.
I will order boxes during the months that I know the home deep scents won't be "in season".
But again, thank you so much Lisa!
I loved the box, found some great products in it that I can use and loved how they smelled.
There was one little perfume sample in there that I loved, loved, loved! It was citrusy and clean, adore it!
There were also a bunch of tarts that oh my, smelled so fab, and I can't wait to melt them.
And I also can't wait to take a bath with some of those bath bombs.
They smell so good!
Sebastian claimed the one that said Monkey Farts.
He can have that one..hahaha
I will definitely be ordering more boxes, but like I said, in the more spring and summer months when scents are lighter and more flower and fruity smelling.

I SERIOUSLY hate it when e-tailers give cinnamon stuff to put in the boxes. I'm highly allergic to it, as well. And they do it all year 'round.

But WOW! Your box looks awesome! Yours is totally different than what I got!

I hope you enjoy it, despite the migraine! (OOPS!) I thought you could use a little pick me up after all the crap you've had to go through lately!

I totally am enjoying it. Like I said, just 3 items had scents that killed me, but everything else was wonderful. I loved it all, even the ones that gave me the migraine, were totally gorgeous products.

And it was an awesome pick me up. I wasn't expecting it. When you said a surprise was coming, I thought maybe some more bpal imps, I wasn't expecting the box...LOL

My box came in the mail yesterday! I wasn't crazy about the cinnamony scents of a couple of things but overall, I'm tickled with the whole thing! I'll definitely be ordering again.

Speaking of cinnamon, don't you hate it when the grocery stores put out those cinnamon scented brooms around this time of year? They make me gag.
