Thanks for being Sunday.

Last night, or should I say really early wee hours of this morning, around 3am, the power went out.
Flicker.
Flicker.
Click.
Total darkness.
Both myself and Mark were still up, yes I know, that's so late for a 16 year old to be up, but in my defense, he earned the extra game playing time.
He really helped out cleaning the house yesterday, washing door knobs, door jams, and walls.
What a difference. (Ha!)
Anyway, we were both awake when it happened and even though it was back on within a few minutes, it caused all the digital clocks to flash.
I was actually very grateful that it happened last night, instead of tonight.
Sunday nights, even if I can't sleep, I will go to bed and attempt to sleep. All the lights in my house off, my room total blackness, and I usually lay there with headphones on.
I would have never known the power went out until morning when the teens and I would have woken with a start to find out we were seriously late for school.

I have things to do today like go to the grocery store again.
We need more food, and I feel in the mood to cook a big extravagant meal.
What, I have no idea, but I do know I want something rich and filling, with sauce or gravy.
Maybe steak, mashed potatoes, sweetened green beans and gravy, or home made chicken cordon bleu with home made cheese sauce, fresh and steamed broccoli, Hawaiian rolls.
Yummy.

I also have internet stuff to do.
I have mine and Craig's open debates to get back to and clear up the obvious confusion he has with my last rebuttal, finish up todays guess the movie, (only 1 guess so far and it's wrong) and then write reviews for the movies we watched.
Transformers and The Invisible.
Both were excellent in my opinion, and I'd like to do a thorough review of the Invisible at the least.
I'm sure almost everyone has seen Transformers, but the Invisible is one of those movies that didn't spend hardly any time in theaters, but should definitely be rented.
I also need to get those packaged up and ready to mail back to Netflix, and make sure the movies I want to get next are at the top of the list.
I think I'll be adding the unrated version of 1408 because it has an alternate ending from the theatrical version which I saw.

I also have last nights cookie sheet to wash off from our bbq'd chicken legs and french fries.
I should have done it last night when we finished eating, but I didn't feel like it.
Now I have a congealed bbq sauce mess to deal with.
See?

I should have used foil on the pan, but hate it when the chicken sticks to the foil.
Sticky chicken, or congealed mess?
Hrm...

Ok, off to start tackling some of these things.
First up will be the debates. I was misunderstood, and I need to set it right.

I got that new Reynolds wrap foil that is non-stick. It works well.
