My Single Mom Life

Oy. I really should have done it last night when it was still warm.
Doing it now is going to be a battle between me, the greasy, sloppy, congealed sauce mess, and my shirt.
I don't own any aprons for cooking, I probably should the way I tend to make a mess in the kitchen, but eh, that's what old t-shirts are for.
I never wore one when I worked restaurants either, preferring to just be one with the kitchen. (om)
Sounds silly I know, but honestly, wearing an apron in the restaurant kitchen was more of a hindrance to my natural flow around the room that it helped.
Then, I am making home made cordon bleu tonight.
I bought the chicken, ham, and extra sharp cheddar, bread crumbs, and a ton of broccoli to steam.
I grabbed some yummy Hawaiian rolls too.

Today's winner has been declared in round #6 of guess the movie, and Carla won again!

I knew today's would be easy, old, but easy.
Picking the screen shots is hard because I use the actual movie trailers. I'm not picking scenes from movies, but the real trailers as they were shown on tv and in theaters, and as most people know, trailers use the actors faces up close, the title is often displayed.
Getting just the right shot for clue #1 is difficult. I don't want it to be easy, but I also don't want it to be too hard.
I usually make clue #2 the dead giveaway clue, so all my contestants have a slap the forehead moment, and go duh, I should have known that.
If you want to try and beat Carla who's in the lead with 13 points, you still have a chance.
There will be 4 more guess the movie posts each day, each worth 1 point, but each post will have chances for extra points.
I will ask for any number of things from the year, the lead actors, the theme music, or any other question I think of.
Tomorrow's is going to be good, and have a minimum of 4 extra point chances.
If you guess that one and the remaining 3 posts after that, (they will also have extra points) you might just beat Carla, and win $25!
She's good, but I know there are other movie buffs out there who know their movie scenes well.
