My Single Mom Life: Archives

I told you that I created the town of Agrestic in my Sims game, and was making all the various characters that live there.
Well I made Conrad and Heylia's place and using a cheat code, I unlocked career rewards.
This opens up some things, items, that your sims can use to further their skills and advance in their careers.
One of the items is a hydroponic plant station.
I am not kidding.
So I unlocked these and placed them in Conrad and Heylia's house, and set Conrad to work on growing some "plants".

If you watch Weeds, you know that both Heylia and Nancy have tried their hand at some "baked" goods, and what do ya know? One of the career reward items is a candy making factory.
I watched Heylia make the candy for a bit and noticed she was sprinkling something on them.
Now, I laughed my ass off and snapped a pic because it's just too funny.
Heylia and Conrad started a grow house because of U-turn, but with him dead now, they are selling it to the marijuana co-ops in California where medical use is legal, but growing and selling is not.
Big huge real life federal stuff going on out there, but they are incorporating that stuff into the story line of the show.
One of the other funny things are the conversations the sims have. While it's in simlish and you can't understand it, they have talk bubbles that appear over their heads so you have an idea of what they are discussing.
Every single time Heylia and Conrad talk, the pictures in their bubbles are that about cops and stuff.
There has been a police siren light, a set of handcuffs, a picture of a jail cell, and the justice scales.
I thought it was all too fitting considering the theme of the house I created. *hahahahaha*
Anyway, I was able to get a pic of Heylia adding the special ingredient to her candies.

I even got Nancy one little hydroponic station, just to see if she could do it too. Her plants are coming along nicely too.

And Sebastian wanted me to show you all his latest housing creation.
When he first started playing the sims a few years ago, he really sucked. They had mismatched walls, no toilets or stoves, his sims often died from lack of proper living facilities, but he has gotten so much better at this.
Once he decorates this house completely, he wants me to upload it to the sims site for people to download.
One house he made for the sims 1 once he got really good at it, was a floating pet store.
I still don't know how he did it, but we uploaded it to the site, and over the course of 3 months, his house was downloaded by other users over 10,000 times.
People loved what he created!
And this one is seriously awesome too.
It's an all glass house with floor lighting at the base of every window on every floor. It comes with an elevator as well to make it easier for the sims to move around the house.
