I just want a tower!
How hard is it to just sell a bare bones computer tower?
I just need a tower with an OS.
It doesn't need any virus or spyware, no office, none of that extra junk, just an OS.
I just need a freaking tower.
I have been hunting all over for a cheap tower to replace the boys with, and it comes with all kinds of crap they don't need.
They don't need a monitor, speakers, keyboard or mouse either.
Just the tower.
Can someone tell me where I can just buy a freaking tower, that's it.
Everything I am finding starts at $400 and goes up, and it comes with all kinds of crap we don't want or need.

Have you looked at Tiger Direct? They have some decently priced bare bones systems, especially if you take advantage of rebates.
I've always gotten good stuff from them.

Ebay it, they sell barebones towers all the time. I actually bought one once. Now I just buy parts to build my own. Or you could always use the every faithful newegg.com

I know sometimes walmart has cheap towers this time of year also you could try new egg, thats where my husband goes and buys all his parts, that might be the cheap way to go, just buy what you need and build it yourself?

You can check pricewatch.com, newegg.com for bare bones systems, and of course dell & gateway should have some good deals this week for black friday. Dell lets you remove the crap including anti virus. I also watch for deals on http://www.morestuff4less.com and use their coupon codes.

Any computer show will have them and you can speak with them and they will answer your questions. That might be better than online for bare bones unless you are tech savvy.
