Agloco down and dead.
Several months ago, maybe about 5 or 6, I received many emails from blogging friends begging me to sign up under them to use the Agloco viewbar and we'd all get rich.
It was easy money baby!
Just use the viewbar, surf 5 hours a month, and make money.
Every person who emailed me, got the same reply.
No. It's an MLM, a pyramid scheme, it's the same people who did the Alladvantage thing a few years ago. Sorry, but you're not going to make any money, and I'm not going to waste my time.
We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO's operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com .We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.
So yeah, really happy I have been online for a few years now, and had done my research on the company because otherwise, I'd be sitting on some forum right now bitchin' with all the other people who wasted their time thinking they were gonna strike it rich.
I had even sent links to some of these people to show them that it was a pyramid scheme, and they still signed up and surfed for hours, one person even telling me I was going to be sorry that I didn't join up when they make their big money, they'll be laughing at me and saying I told ya so.
Who's laughing now huh?
Is it wrong of me to say I told ya so?
I'm sure it is, but I did tell you.
I tried to warn people, but oh no, the easy money deal is simply to good to pass up for some people.
The almighty, easy to make dollar, cannot be passed by some people.
There's that old saying that says, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I do feel sorry for all the people who got scammed, I really do, but it pays to do your research sometimes.

I'm not surprised.
I seem to remember signing up for AllAdvantage a hundred years ago. I was on dial-up back then, and that toolbar thing made my dial-up even more s-l-o-w, so I got rid of it.
Never made a dime off of it, anyway. And I'm glad I never signed on for Agloco.

Never heard of it, but I do know there's no such thing as "easy money."
You are permitted to feel smug in telling them "I told you so."

When it comes to schemes like that I have one expression that seems to serve me well. If it seems too good to be true than it probably is.
