My Single Mom Life

I had an absolutely fun filled day with Susan, just what I needed.
She always comes dressed so cute, all in pink today.
A cute pink striped sweater because it was cold this morning, cute little pink type golf shoes, a pink long sleeve shirt under her sweater, and a cheery pink disposition.
Just what Aunty Kat needed.

She asked me about 100 times about my "boo-boo", how I got it, the curb that did it to me was mean, where was the curb, did it hurt, does it hurt, and did I need more band-aids.
I think it freaked her out a bit, it is rather ugly looking.
She wanted to touch it so I let her touch it and help me apply more staphaseptic throughout the day to keep it clean and not get infected.

We went outside, we ate lunch, we played party, tea party, and birthday party.
She helped me load the washer, unload it and load them into the dryer, she helped me change the sheets on my bed, feed the kitties, and have birthday parties for the kitties.
I love having her here so much, she just cheers me up and makes me smile.
It's exhausting, but so much fun.

Then the boys came home and had some fun teaching Susan the Bob Dole joke.
What is that?
It's like this, no matter what anyone asks you, the answer is Bob Dole.
So the teens and I taught her how to do it so she could do it to mommy and daddy tonight.
Susan just laughed and laughed, she has no idea why it's funny, but I know her dad gets the joke, he has done it to his friends, so he'll find it wicked funny.
When my sis showed up, she asked, "Susan, how was your day? Were you a good girl?"
Susan: "Bob Dole."
Sis:: "What the hell?" *hysterical laughter*
Mark: "Susan, what color is the sky?"
Susan: "Bob Dole."
Hahahahah!
We taught her good. Her dad is gonna roll with laughter.
