Don't order from Walmart.com
I mean it, don't order anything from Walmart.com and expect it to arrive when they say it will.
I ordered the boys a bunch of stuff for Christmas, I paid for expedited shipping.
$36.00 for expedited shipping, so the stuff would arrive TODAY.
I get up this morning, and I have an email from them saying that they just now processed my order.
I ordered this stuff on Wednesday, paid for super fast shipping, and they just now processed my order?!?!
My order may or may not arrive tomorrow, most likely on Monday.
What?!
Did they hire some New York movers to drive to their warehouse, then drive it around the country before getting here?
I'm seriously pissed off.
So, I called Walmart.com and was on hold for 47 minutes before I got to speak to a real live person.
Push 1 for customer, push 3 if you ordered on line, push 4 if there's a problem with your order.
After 47 minutes, I finally got a rep and explained to her what happened.
I purchased on Wednesday, paid for expedited shipping so the stuff would arrive today.
My order history page even says it WILL arrive TODAY, yet they just processed my order this morning.
Gah.
I explained this 3 times to the rep.
I paid for it to arrive TODAY. I expected it today, and you just processed my order.
"Ma'am, what do you want me to do?"
I want you to fix this. It says my stuff is arriving today, but now it's not, probably won't arrive till Monday, but I PAID for it to arrive TODAY.
I want my expedited shipping charges reversed dammit.
So after about 10 minutes going round and round with her, she asks me if I want a supervisor.
Um, yeah. Ya think?
So the supervisor gets on the phone, I explain it all to her, and she asks me what I want her to do.
Ugh.
I want the expedited shipping charges reversed because I PAID for it to arrive TODAY and now it's not.
My order history page even says it WILL arrive TODAY, do you see that on your screen? Do you?!
"Yes ma'am, I do see where it says it will arrive today, but that's just an estimate."
No, it's not an estimate, if it was an estimate, it would say your package is ESTIMATED to arrive today.
It says it WILL arrive today and it's not, because you just processed the order this morning, and my package will arrive on Monday.
Fix it.
"Yes ma'am. I'll reverse the expedited shipping charges."
Thank you. Oh, and when people do order from your site, it shouldn't say things like your package will arrive on such and such day, if it's an estimate, make sure it says estimate.
I paid that shipping charge because it said I will receive it today, not estimated to get it today, but will.
"Yes ma'am, I'm terribly sorry about that. I'll see what we can do to fix that."

I've had nearly identical problems with amazon in my last two orders.
I ordered a birthday gift with a week to spare, and the site told me it would ship in less than 24 hours and arrive ON the day I wanted it to. FIVE DAYS LATER, a day before its to arrive at my niece's house, I get an email saying that it won't even ship for another week (!!!!) plus another week shipping time after that.
I called and canceled the order and made my opinion on this practice (it being the second time to happen) very apparent.
I haven't ordered from them again, and I'm not likely to any time soon.

Grrrr...I'd be upset, too if that happened to me. In fact, it has. I ordered a space heater from BrylaneHome.com and paid extra for 2-day shipping. It did not come on the designated day, and I was pissed. It turned out to only be a day late, but still...if I paid for 2-day shipping, that is what I should get.
I'll still order from them, but I won't use their expedited shipping again.
As for Mall*Wart (I saw that on a bumper sticker; saw it referred to as Volde*Mort on another sticker), they suck. I don't even like their stores. Target is much better. So I won't be ordering anything from Volde*Mort.com!

Well, if they shipped using FedEx, I hope you get it!
I posted about Our ordeal with FedEx. Boxes fell off the truck! And Driver said they were not on the truck. Duh. They fell off your truck!
