Argh! So frustrating!
George came over with a router for me, and I have been at this the entire day now and cannot get it to even register the internet signal.
I'm so freaking frustrated!
The teens are gonna come home, think I have all their stuff back up and running, and no, I don't, and they're gonna be upset, and that's when I'm going to throw a whole bunch of camping gear at them, tell them to sleep in the freaking yard, because if I get asked one more time if it's fixed yet, I may hurt somebody!
Why the hell is it not even seeing the DSL signal?!
And of course, the stress of this whole mess, has my back twitching like an epileptic with a grand seizure.
Why can't someone just come over and fix it for me huh?
Why does this have to be so much more complicated than it should be?
The Linksys router I had, a couple things plugged in and bam! All good to go.
This one, is simply not working and I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to it!

You've rebooted the modem and router when you get it all connected? are you using the same cords or diff ones... could be bad ethernet cord or port on something... hubby says might need to call the dsl company to clear old devices off the server...

Why are we both having computer problems in the same week. Although my problem is different, I feel your frustration...I'm ready to go homicidal on someone right now.
Hope you can get it working again soon.

Kat,
If the boys are giving you that much grief over it I'd bean 'em with something regardless. XD
Seriously though, I hope you can get everything fixed and up and running again. Is this tied into the problem with Verizon as well? Are they still denying they need to get out there and fix something?
