First post of 2008.
I had wanted to make the first post last night right after midnight, but I ended up crashing out and sleeping in late.
Oh well.
Today has been super duper quiet around here.
The teens slept in late, I fell back asleep while watching the Rose parade, and woke up about 2 hours ago.
I'm just not feeling right, and god damn, do I hate bitching about this shit straight into the new year, but fuck, these pills are killing me.
I am calling them (doc) tomorrow morning to see if they can get me in there tomorrow or Thursday, I just don't think I can hang on like this for even a few more days.
I'm freaking miserable.
So anyway, I sent the teens out to pick us up some subs from Publix for dinner, and we'll probably watch a movie or something tonight until the new shows start that I like.
I hope you all had a happy and safe new year's eve, and that the start of 2008 is good and prosperous for us all.

Apropos of nothing, I love the version of the pledge you have in your sidebar. I identified as an athiest for most of my life. That has since softened to agnostic, and I do attend church because I like the music and being part of a community, but I strongly support the separation of church and state. It's important. Wasn't it Jefferson who said that freedom of religion included freedom FROM religion as well?
