My Single Mom Life: Archives My Single Mom Life: They sent him home.

« Fell on a pencil. | Main | A follow up to the scary morning post. »

They sent him home.

When he fell, it happened so fast, and he felt the pain in his arm more than any other part of his body that hit the ground.
But he did hit his head, so about 15 minutes after they called, they called again, and said that he hit the back of his head when it happened, and he has a small lump, a headache, and should be sent home for precaution.
So he's home and resting, just laying on the couch watching tv.

I was able to get a message to Mark so he didn't go searching for Sebastian when school lets out, they walk home together every day, and Mark emailed me to let me know he got the message and asked how his brother was.
I told him he was fine, just laying down.
I put some Staphaseptic on the puncture, and covered it with a band-aid.
He'll probably have a mark there for the rest of his life now.
For some reason, even if you get all the lead out, you still end up with a black dot on your skin forever.

Believing there's no God means I can't really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That's good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around.- Penn Jillette
