UPS, why must you suck so much?
I had my box cutter all ready to go, to open up the new monitor that the teen's Aunt Heather bought for them.
The monitor that was supposed to be delivered on April 30th, but once again, UPS couldn't find the address.
The address Heather used when she bought it, is correct, but what happens at UPS every single time now, is that when they enter it into their tracking system, they reverse the numbers to my house.
Instead of 5328, they enter it in as 5238, or 5823, or some other combination which is wrong, and then they just don't even bother to try looking up the correct address.
I've now lived here for 10 years, and I've never had a single package delivered when it was supposed to be.
They always mess it up, make me call them, or is the case right now, Heather is once again on the phone with them.
When it didn't get delivered by Saturday, she called them and asked why.
They told her about the address, they corrected it, promised her it would be delivered today, and now it's not.
When I called them a little while ago and gave them the tracking information and asked where it was, and also explained the promise, they said that "whoever told the gift sender it would be delivered today, lied."
When Heather called me about 20 minutes ago and I told her what they told me, she was furious.
"What do you mean they told you the rep I spoke to lied?! Are they calling their own employees liars now?!"
I said yes, that's what the lady said, that you were lied to.
To say Heather is unhappy is an understatement.
She's calling them now to chew them out some more.
To add to the chewing I did.
I mean come on!
10 years at the same exact address, and they still mess up my address and can't find my house?!
I swear, if I had other shipping options with the places I do business with, or could ask my shippers too please use Fedex or DHL, two companies who have never had a problem and as a matter of fact, always deliver a day early in most cases, believe me, I would.
I'm sick and tired of any package I order never making it to me on time, and having UPS come up with all kinds of excuses why.
They always apologize, but saying sorry isn't good enough any more, not after 10 years of hearing it.
