What do ya know? I'm blog of the day!
See that? You can click it for bigger, but it says that I am blog of the day for the triple P paid to blog company.
Funny thing though, I haven't worked for them since October 2007, and I left on very bad terms having a back and forth with their "customer love" department about all my issues with their company, and asking them to completely remove all traces of me from their system.
I did not want to be linked to from any part of their site, and I was assured they had removed every single link they had to me from every part of their site.
Promised actually.
But there I am, blog of the day.
How the hell am I blog of the day?
I have not taken a single post for them since the end of September and got my last payment from them in October.
It's gotta be a random selection because it's most certainly not based on me taking any posts, I haven't.
I am not the top earner, middle earner, or even low man on the totem pole, because I don't work for them.
I don't have the ability to even login to their sites anymore, so how did I find out I was blog of the day?
Several people emailed me screenshots of it.
Some of them were like "I hate to be the bearer of bad news because they promised you they removed you from the system, but obviously they lied."
Someone else said "Holy shit Kat! Don't get too pissed!"
And another simply said "LMAO! Idiots!"
Exactly my thoughts.
Idiots.
So if you're coming here from the blog of the day link on the triple P site, no I don't work for them, haven't in a very long time now, and they are clearly not people of their word.
They do not remove anyone from the system or site even if they promise you they do.
They keep every single blogger in there so their numbers of users is as big as it is to impress adverts with.
They can say they have over 100,000 bloggers, but how many of them are like me?
No longer working for them and asked to be removed from their site?
I'm guessing a lot.
I'm not mad I'm still in the system, I'm just very disappointed they lied to me about removing me.

Holy crap! I guess that's something I'll have to look forward too.. NOT. My ads with them are done at the end of this month. All of my blogs say "inactive" which is the best they would do for me. I haven't logged in since I saw they put them as inactive instead of removing them all together.

LMAO! And rumor forever has been that the BOTD was the person who did the very last opp the previous day.
Gotta love it that they keep people in just to pad their numbers! HEY, LOOK AT US!! We have 5,000,000 bloggers. It's just too bad that 4,999,999 of them realized what lying asshats we were and no longer blog for us...LMAO!!

OMG, I thought it was just me that quit them! I quit last Jan. after I got my tax info. I took all of the PPP stuff off my blogs too. At least I hope I did. They pissed me off royal and I worked really hard for them.

I have to admit that if it had happened to me it would be funny. Seems to be nice traffic generator. Even if you don't work for them anymore, that ain't bad. :)
Kat, those people are never going to go away, are they? Ah well, I haven't actually stopped working for them but the last post was in January. They might be good for a laugh or two still or a buck.
I was really surprised to see your blog there today. Congrats on the new traffic generator. LOL!

They gave me the same "honour" long after I stopped working for them.

I just logged into my account, because I had to see this for myself. I hadn't logged in for who knows how long now. I never asked them to remove me because I figured they wouldn't do it. I don't want to waste my time arguing with them over it. Now it's clear that they don't remove anyone, ever. What a bunch of liars.
Oh, and I noticed that I got a ban the other day, May 6. Some advert banned me because I had taken my posts for that company down. Now I need to go and get a beer and cry into it...NOT!
They can ban me all they want; I'll never work for them again, ever. I hate them.

They'll never cease to amaze me. I haven't cut ties yet but I haven't worked for them in months.
I don't think I'd be able to resist the temptation of rubbing their lie in their face.

I'm sorry to hear that, we just probably have different experience to them. I'm such a newbie around so I'm hoping that I won't get to experience what you've experienced before. This is a good info for me, so thanks for that.

They have this new "concept" now called Social Spark. I was invited and I did check it out but it is all to confusing. Is PPP all about status and not about what bloggers can conrtribute?

That is too funny.
I swear, you can't make this shit up LOL

Wow--that's nuts. I wonder if I'll wind up on there at some point. I'm in the same boat of not working for them but not trying to get them to remove me because I didn't want to deal with the hassle.
Man...I gotten two invites to Social Spark in the past week too. WTH?

I can't say I'm shocked. I knew they like to keep all the "retired" blogs in their system. Padding their numbers is right. What a crock.
I took all of their code off of Chipped Polish a while ago because they were so shady about the PageRank thing, but guess what? Not only have they not removed that blog from the PPP system, but they added it to their RealRank. I haven't checked SocialSpark, but I imagine it's in their too.
I'm glad that you have verifiable proof that they're liars, too. All those haters that doubted it can take that news and choke on it. Ya know?
