You know I want it.

I have become so crazy obsessed with checking out Buy.com's weekly deals since I found it because of all of the cool products, gadgets, DVDs, computer parts, games, and other items that they put on the list every single week.
I have found so many things that I want and and I swear, if I had a no-limit credit card, I'd have all the things I covet.

So I was browsing the sale items this week, and I came across a kitchen item that I have been wanting since the first time I saw it on tv at like 3:00am when I had insomnia really bad one night.
It's one of those counter top halogen ovens.

They are pretty pricey, I'd never buy one at it's normal price of over $100, but Buy.com has it on sale for $91.99, and then there's a $20 rebate, so the final total price is $71.99, and it has free shipping!

I love these things!
You can take a frozen piece of meat and toss it on there, and it will cook all the way through without burning the outside, and without being raw on the inside.
It uses 75% less energy than a regular oven, it's smokeless and odorless, and won't heat up the whole kitchen or the house like a regular oven.
It can cook 8lbs of meat, or if you add the extender ring that comes with it, you can cook a whole 16lb turkey in it in half the time of an oven!
That would be awesome!
Just set the timer and walk away until it beeps.
It cooks by using conduction, convection, and infrared rays, it's practically fool proof.
I love turkey, but I don't love cooking a turkey.
I am always checking it and worried that it won't be cooked all the way through, and oh man, it gets so hot in the house when I cook one up.
I always say how glad I am that turkey is usually a traditional holiday food, because of how long it takes to cook one, and how hot the house gets.
With this, I'd be able to make turkey more often and not screw it up or sweat to death while making it.

If I had the money right now, I'd totally buy it, but things are a wee bit tight for me right now, (Who isn't money tight for right now?) it's the end of the month, Sebastian's birthday is Sunday, the teens get out of school for the summer on Friday, so yeah, t-i-g-h-t, tight right now.
But I will just keep checking the weekly deals, and with any luck they'll put it back on sale again sometime in the future.
I will have one of these someday.
I will have it and I will love it, and I'll give it a name and it will be mine!
Oh yes, it will be mine.

I love cooking and have worked in quite a few restaurants in my career days, and would have loved to have gone to a culinary school or apprentice under a great chef, so I've provided the following information for any one who may also be interested in going to culinary school, or just learning to be a better cook!

I need one of those, especially since my oven is useless now.
