You are not going to believe this!
It happened again.
I was sitting here and heard this loud Kaboom! type noise, I thought maybe the landlord had thrown my trash cans up against the carport, so I got up and looked out the door window.
What did I see?
I saw my mailbox was gone again.
I grabbed my camera and ran outside where I found my landlord and a few of my neighbors, standing there looking at and talking about the mailbox homicide that had just taken place.
Again.
This just happened a month ago!
The neighbors saw a black Honda taking off, but that's about it.
We got bigger pieces of the car this time though.
What the freaking hell?!
Is there some sort of target on our mailboxes?!
The force at which the car hit the mailboxes this time, sent them flying to the far end of the ditch.
I simply cannot understand how this keeps happening.
Do people not see them?
WTF!?!?

Holy crap~
My Mom did that once. Took out someones mailbox. She was kinda forced off to the side of the road by some asshat who just decided that he wanted to be in her lane right then. At least she stopped and told them what happened and offered to pay for it. When they saw the damage it did to her car, they declined, just thankful that no one was hurt.
Maybe the person nodded off or something. Thats a scary thought....

Seriously? Geez!!! Chris says that we are going to fix the mailbox so that the next time someone decides to run it over they won't be going anywhere! Now that will make for great blog fodder!:)

WHEN WE WERE KIDS, WE WOULD TIE A ROPE FROM ONE MAILBOX AND STRING IT TO A MAILBOX ACROSS THE STREET. WHEN A CAR WENT BY IT WOULD TAKE OUT BOTH MAILBOXES. MAN WAS I A DUMB KID.
