I just checked in on the Sims 3 website, and found out that the rumors last week are true.
The Sims 3 will NOT be released until June 2nd now.

I paid for this back in December, I've been totally looking forward to it, I upgraded my memory and my video card in anticipation of the February 16th release date, and now I have to wait until June 2nd.
This sucks!
I even bought the The Sims 3 Collector's Edition
so I could get all of the extras it comes with, I was totally looking forward to this coming in like 2 weeks, and now I have to wait until June.
I'm sure they have a really good reason for the delay, they want it to be the best possible game it can be, it is just really disappointing news to read.
