What to buy?!
Due to a mix-up and a misunderstanding on a purchase I made at an online retailer back in December, Buy.com's customer service department has been in touch with me regarding that purchase and the snafu.
It's a major long story, but Buy.com wanted to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and their company, which I am, I've been shopping with them since 2004.
So anyway, their customer service department sent me a gift certificate today for $30.00 to buy anything I want.
Yay!
So now the question is, what do I want to buy?!
I've been going through all of their weekly deals and sale items, and they have so many awesome items on sale, and at first I didn't think they had anything this week that I wanted, but then my friend Holly pointed out what she was getting from her husband for valentine's day, and now I'm all oooohhh, I want those too!
They are some Altec Lansing MUZX MHP 206 Stereo Earphones, some pretty little sparkly earbuds that I can use with my mp3 player.

They are normally $59.99, but Buy.com has them for just $17.99, so that's a savings of $41.96!
Yeuss!
They have precision-cut crystalized Swarovski elements in the jeweled flowers on the earbuds, and on the butterfly on the on the choker.
The "Snug fit" design provides passive noise reduction, which makes it so that you don't have to turn the volume up so high to get great sound quality.
They come with 3 different sized ear tips, small, medium, and large, so I'm sure to find 1 of the 3 that will fit my ears perfectly so they don't slip out when I'm moving around and going for walks like my current ear buds sometimes do.
And they got some great reviews too, so it looks like I'm making a good purchase, a good deal on the price, and they are not only beautiful, but have good sound quality as well.
Now I'm going to look around and find one more item to go with them so I can spend as close to the gift certificate amount as possible, and then I'm going to buy them.
When I get them, I'll be sure to let you know how they are and write my own review!

Do you need any new jump drives or dvds/cds to burn data onto? I also see a bunch of PC games that look fun that would finish you out (the cheaper ones of course!)

Those are so cute! I wish I could wear the earbud kind. They always fall out of my ears! That's awesome they gave you the gift certificate though. I am getting my tax return tomorrow, I may have to check out buy.com and see what I can buy! :-)

I have those! But you will get them for a hell of a lot less than I paid for them. I paid around $45 at Best Buy. I love them :)

Good news on the gift certificate. I say splurge on the discounted stuff you wanted! It's always nice to buy it with someone else's money, or in this case, with someone else's gift certificate!!!
