WWJD at school?
The teens were sitting at their lunch table today, and another student came along and tossed this on their table and said "Hey atheists", and then kept going.
It's a religious tract for a Baptist church that offers a lot of teen and youth programs.
The student who tossed it on their table obviously knows that they are atheists, that's why they did it.
School is no place for this stuff whether it's done by teachers or students.
This is basically, harassment of students who don't believe, by students who do believe.

This is what it says on the inside:

And this is the church that distributes them to kids to hand out at school:

I agree that school is no place for crap like this. That student should have kept his mouth shut and not bothered the teens. Hopefully you'll consider mentioning the incident to the school's administration.

Tsk. Tsk. How awful.. it reminds me of a blog a while back whose kids were harassed at school for reading 'The Golden Compass' series. and you don't get to heaven by believing in god? What a backwards cult they have going on there.. I thought that's what they believed in. I don't really know what most Christians believe in anymore except for hate. I will get flamed for this, I'm sure.

I hope you contact that church and let them know that having their kids hand those out in a school is wrong and that if they continue, you'll make sure those kids are punished. That's just ridiculous. It's sad that the only place you're safe from religious harassment is in your home and you can't even always guarantee that!

This definitely has no place in a PUBLIC school. Being in Bible-Belt-Land, I don't know how much you'd get from complaining to school authorities, but I'd go ahead and complain anyway.
Mark and Sebastian don't go around tossing atheist literature at other students, so they deserve the same respect in return.

Live life by love. No matter the situation, no matter the person.
It's people like that who are making Christians look awful as a whole. Contradicting itself.

you should file a complaint. then when the school says there is nothing they can do, the kids can distribute their own.
then see how quickly the issue is addressed.
not as an effort to promote atheism.
but to concrete the prohibition of prostelyzation.
