Not impressed with the photography companies at all.

There were 2 photography companies at the graduation, Bob Knight Photo, and Grad Images.
Both companies had parents pre-register, and had the students pre-register at the dress rehearsal as well.
Both companies said that they would email everyone within 24-48 hours immediately after the graduation.

Neither Mark or myself, have received any emails from either company.
I have now emailed both companies 2 times, and tried to call both companies today, and I have not gotten any communication back from either at all.
I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes, and then told that all customer service reps were busy, and to try and call back at a later time.
Not even an automatic email confirmation saying that they got my emails.

I am seriously not impressed with either photography company at all.

First of all, Congrats! I sure hope that you hear from them soon and that the photos turn out nice.

Kat, I hope you hear from them soon. That sucks, especially when you are waiting for graduation pics. If not, give them hell and tell them to get things a-moving.

Hello:

I stumbled onto your blog tonight while researching public perception of GradTrak Graduation Images (formerly Bob Knight Photo). The two companies you referenced are, in fact, one and the same. I am a Customer Service Supervisor in one of the two offices our company maintains. Please let me apologize for the poor service and lack of timely response from our company. We are currently experiencing record call and email volumes. If you'd like you can call our offices and ask to speak with me directly any Monday-Friday 3-9 PM EST (you may ask for "Tim"), and I'd be happy to help you order or give you status updates on the processing of your school's images.

Thanks again for your continued patience. Looking forward to hearing from you. Congratulations on the recent accomplishment!

Tim,

I finally received the email with the link to the proofs on June 6th, which is definitely not within 24-48 hours of the graduation that was on May 30th, but I do understand how overwhelmed your company must have been.
There was approximately 750 students at Riverview High School, and then you stayed and also shot the next high school's graduation ceremony as well.

What upset me was the fact that emails went totally unanswered, and so did phone calls.
I sent 2 emails to both companies which I now know are one in the same, but at the time I had no idea that they were, and so 4 emails were left unanswered which was frustrating.
I called both companies and listened to music for well over 15 before finally giving up.
I tried to find out if my son's pictures were available on either site, but every time I searched for Riverview High school, I came up with no search results, and because I had no pin number, (no email from your company) I couldn't check for the proofs.

It was just a very frustrating experience for me because the ceremony at Robarts arena was so rushed with so many students graduating, it was difficult to get pictures ourselves, so we were relying on your company for at least 1 great shot of my son, and then to not get that email in the time that your company promised or a reply to my emails, and to not get through on the phone, I was very worried that there was not going to be a picture of my son at all.
The whole experience with your company was stressful to me to say the least.

When my son came home and gave me the paper (BobKnight) about pre-registering for photos, and it said that if we pre-registered, we "can be rest assured that picture proofs will be sent to the exact email address within 24 hours of your graduate's ceremony", I immediatly went to the site and pre-registered.
So imagine how upset I was to not get the email in 24 hours as the Bob Knight pre-registration paper had assured me, or 48 hours as the GradTrak paper and site had said.
I waited 3 full days before I posted to my blog.
It took your company 7 whole days before you sent the email with the link to the proofs.
I understand how overwhelmed you must have been, all of those graduation ceremonys, all of those students, but if you cannot keep your word to provide the picture proofs with the 24-48 hours that you assure us in writing, then you either need to remove that assurance from your photography fliers, or change it to reflect how long it really takes which is actually 7 full days.
