After re-listening to my mp3 for today,
I have decided to get this on cd and blast it at 5:50 every morning next year for the boys to wake up to.
They will both be in middle school and they loved the Rocky movies so I'll get 'em up and motivated everyday...lmao
It's also a good anti-bully type song.
Being the under dog, fighting the good fight yada yada.
Sure, they'll hate me by week 2 and try to scratch the disc but they will be up and ready and wide awake...lmao
Or I could do either one of these.
Scotland the brave or Chariots of fire Gone. Same rules apply, right clicky or I'll call you dicky.
Thanks to my friend Shell for the massive mp3 collection she sent. I still haven't even listened to all of them yet.
You're the best girl. *Mwah*

Musical Mondays.
Damn I am so late posting this today.
I ate and fell asleep.
All that walking just wiped me out and now my back is stiff because I fell asleep on the couch in a funky position.
Oops.
So here's an oldy and remember, don't be a dick, always right click.
Night Ranger-Don't Tell Me You Love Me
April 26, 2004
Yeah so I almost forgot.
I was busy with phone calls this morning and stuff and then got like absorbed in that cupid site answering so many questions to like narrow down or give me more choices or whatever.
But like as soon as I said I was atheist, funny, no matches at all. So I went back in and said I was undeclared like a piece of fruit at the airport.
Tada! There were pages of people.
That kind of sucks though.
I mean, how the hell am I gonna find Mr. Fucking Wonderful if I can't be honest?
Oh well.
And today is monday so I have a tune for ya.
I am on a Twisted Roots kick because I just love them and they make me happy and I am so happy they are recording again. I grin from ear to ear listening to them and visions of little pink arrows go running through my head.
Don't ask me to explain, it was one of those moments where you just smile and every time you think of it after, you smile. One of those odd things the male species do to get a girl to laugh.
So here, have some Dog. Too bad, so sad, you missed it.
And don't be a dick, always right click.

Twisted Fucking Roots!!!
Twisted Roots are back together and writing some new music and recording!
I can't even tell you how psyched I am about this.
Sure, I am not living in Maine anymore but damn man, if any band from that state should make it, it is them.
They have what it takes, the sound, the style, the loyal fans.
Go check them out.
They have all their Cd's available for download FREE on their site.
My fave?
Turn to Stone.
My fave line from one of their tunes?
"Are you god or are you dog? Does your tongue speak for you, speak for me or speak from above?"
Go Lay your groundwith some Twisted fucking Roots!
Don't be a dick, fucking right click!!

Musical Monday.
Megadeth-These boots are made for walking. Gone gone gone.
Don't be a dick, always right click.
I barely slept at all.
It's probably because I am used to total darkness and for the last couple of nights, I have been doing the lamp thing to try and catch fleas.
It's working.
Slowly or maybe that means they are mostly dead.
In the morning, there have only been one or 2 fleas in the water.
And actually, I don't think it's the light itself. I think it's the lamp that keeps me awake.
I have cats.
A lamp is sitting on the floor next to a dish of water.
Makes for a long night of panicking about possible fires.
And this is the most fucked up shit I have heard in a while.
You can't have a picnic with the homeless without a permit and liability insurance.
Seriously.
Go read that shit.

Stars and scores.
What do I mean?
It's Monday first of all so that means that I am going to post an mp3.
I am in a playful mood this monday morning so be prepared to send me hate mail for todays tune.
And the stars, well, this was my horriblescope for today.
You're the mysterious stranger. You're also everybody's friend, even if he or she never saw your face before today. You have the power to break hearts or remake lives. Even when you're just playing it by ear, you look as if you're following an intricate score. Start out on a long walk to nowhere, and soon you'll find a special destination. Your imagination is also your true vision. You surprise people by reflecting their own unique colors back at them. How do you do that, anyway? If you knew the answer, you'd be happy to explain.
I love these scopes. Yes I do. So bizarre and accurate and funny.
I have found myself being something to a few people lately and I can't get all descriptive because that is the nature of being something to someone.
It's only for that someone. But it just fits. It's like an old glove that was tossed in a closet and just found and amazingly, it still fits.
And now for todays tune.
I figured I would stick something in your head that you will not admit to liking and that it makes you smile. You will grumble and groan and curse me for putting it in your head. But you know you like it.
Just admit it.
It's ok.
It's your living room.
Get up and dance and sing.
It's cool.
Come Sail Away. Gone gone gone.
Don't be a dick, always right click.
But yeah, let the hate mail begin!!!
Muwhahahaha!
March 22, 2004
It's monday.
I slept like crap as usual during the week. Panic I am not going to wake up in time for Mark to go to school. That is what I was thinking. I was like, ok, it's 2:30 and if I fall asleep now, I need to be awake in 3 hours and 20 minutes to get Mark up.
It's insane I know.
The kid even has an alarm clock but I panic.
Oh well.
I got a bunch of crappy ass paperwork to fill out on saturday. You should see some of these questions. It's such basic shit and when I read through them I'm like, who the hell doesn't know this shit?
I'd scan some of it but I'd probably be breaking some law.
It's all government paperwork.
Stupid.
But on to the music.
Today I just felt like some Bowie.
This is one of my favorite songs.
Enjoy.
Major Tom Gone gone gone.

Hey Heidi!
Just in case you are around and bored, I thought I'd give you something fun to think about.
The better times at that crappy ass Paneras.
Before Brad got a loaf stuck up his ass.
We kicked ass on that line when they just left us alone.
Remember this?
Hahaha.
500 miles So sad, too bad, it's gone.
Right click it and save it please. :)
Extra by request. One night in Bangkok. Yeah, you missed this one too.
Man, Shell put a boatload of awesome 80's and some early 90's stuff on one of the cds she made me. Holy crap.
P.S. Shell, One Night In Bangkok was actually done by Murray Head.
Yes, I know I'm a dork for knowing that.

It's another morning of not much to say.
Not super tired, the meds helped a little bit but I woke up a lot off and on all night.

So that's really it.
But here, have a song and a great day.

I went back to bed and rested for a bit.
Took a shower, feel much better. I am going to try the Zanaflex before bed tonight and see if that helps.
The mail just arrived and in it was Probot from the lovely Rhonda!
I had looked at this cd a few weeks ago after Michele had mentioned it and went to the site and poked around. Looked interesting.
Never added it to my wish list but kept thinking about it.
Rhonda is psychic me thinks.
I cannot wait to listen to this.
I have heard such great things about it.
Thanks you sneaky monkey! Her site is still down but should be back up soon.
Love ya.
UPDATE* 1:44 pm. This cd kicks much ass.

Musical mondays.
I offer you a local band from St. Pete called Smackhead.
Yes, I know these guys.
Heard them play at Livingstons before it went the way of all local live music, out of Sarasota, and loved it.
They gave me a cd and we hung out. Hi Joe!! ![]()
My weekends were spent at the club hanging out and jamming to local bands. That is also where I heard Neurotica for the first time.
I would bring people with me to see them all the time.
It's Florida rock so it's kinda southerny but heavy too.
You know what to do, right click it and save target as. DO not stream this or you will be killed.
Ok, so not killed but I will put a curse on you that will leave you barren and bald with a bad case of crotch itch.
This is a hidden track on the self titled cd and it just fucking rocks. I love this song. I know you are gonna like it too.
Enjoy and remember, no streaming.
I will be keeping an eye on it and if people are streaming, I will pull it.
Smackhead-Cries of Pain GONE.![]()

The CD price fixing settlement checks are finally on the way.
boycott-riaa.com - Article: The CD Checks Are In The Mail -- Finally!
Yes!
A whopping $13.86 per person.
Don't you just feel great getting that back?
That is if you signed up for the lawsuit.
I'm either gonna buy food with it, (ramen noodles galore baby) or donate it to the EFF.
