I almost forgot to do this weeks!
This weeks Supahstar is Cecile of Work at Home Musings.

Cecile is a really cool chick I must say, she posts lots of tips for what else? Working at home. Stuff like time management, home businesses and ideas, and tons of links for ways to legitimately make money from home.
She's also the inventor of the work at home moms question of the week, which just started recently, but you can still jump in and play along.
It's all questions relating to working at home. I hope to see more and more questions that make me think, possibly even inspire me to do some big changes to my own at home jewelry biz when I can get back to it.
I'm so anxious to get back to it after a whole year not being able to. I have so many ideas!

But anyway, back to Cecile. Go check her out, join the WAHM's QOTW, and meet someone cool.

_______________

I missed a week due to being sick, so this is actually week 5, but because I'm OCD, I'm keeping my numbers straight. Ha!

This weeks star is Cass from Cass's Midlife Musings.
Cass is mom to 8 children. Eight.
I don't know how she does it at all. Two drive me crazy.
My mom used to have that many in the house because my folks were foster parents, but those kids came and went. I can't imagine 8 all the time.
She knits, she blogs, she watches movies, and is a really great person.
I met Cass through Pay Per Post, and she's been a real help to me. Reading her tips, tricks and advice, and how to's, made getting the hang of PPP much easier.
She's smart and witty, a has a bit of a catty streak which I adore.
She may think she's very, very proper, but I think she can totally cut loose when she wants to.
Cass is from the south, lived there her whole life, and is a believer.
Now normally, I wouldn't do a write up about someone and include that kind of information, but when it comes to my friendship with Cass, I kinda have to put it out there.
Why?
Because I am atheist and am usually attacked by believers for things I post. Cass is what I call a true believer of the word.
She understands the teachings of Christ and one of the most important ones in my opinion.
Judge not, lest ye be judged.
Cass has never judged me for not believing.
I've been de-linked in the past because of my non-belief, but Cass hasn't. Cass even gave my link to her mom, and her mom stops in from time to time to read me.
Her mom says I'm a bit "rough", but neither one of them seem to mind that my beliefs are 100% opposite of theirs.
It's refreshing.
It's nice.
I guess I'm so used to people bashing me for being atheist, and the things I post about religion, that when I started reading her blog, I was a bit worried how she'd react to me.
It was really nice to just be accepted by her and 'ok' in her eyes.

Anyway, y'all should go check out Cass, she has a lot of great posts, and is just a super nice person.

This weeks star is Amy at Whatever I feel Like.
I totally *heart* Amy.
She's smart and sassy, full of snark.
She has a great sense of humor, and she's brutally honest, a quality I admire. It takes courage to say what you really think and feel, so many people just say what we want to hear. Not Amy, she says what she thinks and most of the time, I'm in agreement with her. (PPP announcement)
So head on over and see why Amy is this weeks Supahstar, she earned it.

This weeks supahstar is Marcus.
Marcus writes about a wide variety of subjects and is very interested in the enviroment which I whole heartedly agree with.
I think we do far too much damage to our planet and a day will come when we see the outcome of what we do.

He's a huge UNC Tarheels fan. I don't follow b-ball much, but every now and then I check out a game or two when it's on.
He's also a techy, and has a tech blog called Techboyardee, you should check him out.

He got a new camera, I'm totally jealous. It looks saweet!

Supahstar Saturday #1

supahstarsaturday_sm.jpg

Every week, one blogger is chosen as the star. Everyone else writes and links to that blog by the following Saturday. If you complete 5 postings about supahstar saturday, your name then gets thrown in to be a star on a saturday. This was the very first one.

The very first supahstar is Loretta.
She's a mom of 4 young boys. Yikes! I don't know how she handles 4 boys, but she does.
She has a wicked sense of humor that I find rather enjoyable. I love it when people find the humor in the side effects of all those ads on tv for various drugs.

I also remember the days of no candy rules and no scheduled parties, please don't send anything, and then having your kid be the only one who didn't.
Used to burn my butt when that happened.

A very cool thing about Loretta? She's also a Grey's fan.
But after last nights episode, I think they officially jumped the shark.
