I keep a list of daily to do's right at my desk. I add and cross off things as I go.
I also keep that list on my google calendar, so if I miss something on the list, i know that I can just peek at my calendar and get it done.

I was working today for a few hours off and on, dealing with site issues and stuff, then life got in the way again.
Neighbor drama.

"What time to you get up in the morning? Are you a morning person or a night owl?"
I have the worst insomnia ever, so sleep is a luxury when it does happen.
I get up with the boys at 5:45am, and piddle around the house, or go lay back down and attempt to sleep.
I would say I'm a combo of both because of the insomnia. I can stay up all night long, like last night, I was awake till 4am, and then sleep till the boys get up, and be wide awake and ready for the day.
You'd think with all this awake time, I'd get more work done.
ha!

I don't eat anything for breakfast. I have a can of diet soda, and usually eat sometime around 11am or so.

What kind of workspace to you have? Where is it located? Is it clean or messy?
My desk where my pc is, is actually very clean. I have it perfectly organized.
But my work table for my jewelry biz, is a complete mess all the time.
I really need a whole other room, with a table just for that, so the table out here can just be piled high with crap all the time.
Kidding!
It would turn back into a dining table so we could eat together.

Do you have a weekly meal plan? How do you plan for your family dinners?

I try to have a weekly meal plan. I have a list of fave meals that the boys love to eat, so there's no reason for them to be picky, and I mix it up every single week. I have approximately 60 different fave meals they will chow down on, and so it's pretty easy to mix it up on a weekly basis.

I plan my meals and shopping list at the same time, using a weekly meal and grocery planner template I found at the thehomeschoolmom.com

What is the worst Work at Home Scam you have seen or heard about?
Man, there are sooo many!
Pretty much any that are MLM's. The Melaucas, the Amways, the health/diet pill scams.
Basically, any company that says you need to pay any amount up front, get people to sign up under you, in order to make money.
I hate scams.

Do you do any spring cleaning, or anything to get ready for the warmer weather?

Well it's always warm here, so no, not in the sense of packing up the winter gear and digging out the summer clothes. We wear shorts year round.
But we do spring cleaning. Throw away old broken stuff, the teens clean out their clothes for items that don't fit anymore, and if they are in good shape, we donate them to the Salvation Army shelter.
Basic spring cleaning like, dust everywhere, get rid of cobwebs, move furniture and vac under the couches, wash all the drapery and stuff like that.

How do you remind yourself of daily tasks? A to do list? A computer program? Let us know the details!
I use Gmail's Google calendar.
I enter in all my stuff, set it to remind me the day before, and 10 minutes before. It works for me.
I used to use a calendar program called DNW alarm, but someone hacked their site and they never put it back.
When I figured out how to use Google's, I actually liked it better because I could just click one tab on my Gmail account to get to it. The other program took going to the site, logging in, entering stuff, setting up alarms one at a time.
Gmail, I can set it for repeating events weekly, monthly, yearly etc.
I put practically everything in it because if I write it down, I tend to lose that piece of paper. Using a wall calendar, I forget to look at it, but because I'm always at my pc, boom, email notifications.

This weeks QOTW is:
How many hours a week do you spend on your home business? Do you think it is too much or too little?

Well it's currently too little. I used to work on it daily pre-surgery, and have not been able to get back into my jewelry biz since surgery.
I wasn't cleared for a year, then when I thought he was going to give me the go ahead, I ended up with severe shoulder pain which is now being treated with 3 times a week PT, (which I missed today because I woke up sick) and it's going to be about 6-8 weeks before that's over.
I have a partner who is going to help me rebuild my store, add new products, and be a custom designer herself, so hopefully, in about a month or so, I'll be back to working at home on my biz full time.
