Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez's final moments caught on tape.

This is the footage taken in the car seconds before Lisa "Left Eye's" car had crashed in Honduras.
How awful it is still to this day.
TLC was one of the groups that brought female rappers to the front, their music was loved, and so were they.

The footage is not graphic, but it is the few moments right before the crash. Lisa looks peaceful and happy.

Movies on the xbox 360.

One of the cool things I like about the xbox 360, is the ability to download in high def, tons of different movies.
You just go into the marketplace, choose media and entertainment, and select a movie.
You have to have microsoft points on your xbox live account to do it, but the points are pretty cheap.
Movies range anywhere from 280-480 points, and you can purchase 500 points for about $6.00

Right now we're downloading a horror double feature, Dark Ride and The Hamiltons. Both movies are 480 points, it takes about an hour to download at DSL speed, but you can start watching the movie once it reaches 20% complete.

So if you ever get tired of just playing games on your 360, look into the media and entertainment marketplace.
They have a ton of movies, all different genres, and pretty cheap to rent and watch.
You have 14 days from completion of download to watch them, and then you just delete them from your hard drive.

New Smashing Pumpkins

Wanna hear a new song by the Smashing Pumpkins?
This is Tarantula, off their new CD titled Zeitgeist, which will be released on 7-10-07.

This sounds just like the old SP that I loved.
I'm so stoked for this new CD.
It's gonna be great if the rest of it is anything like Tarantula.
Give it a listen and tell me what you think.

You're fired Donald Trump!

Source

Donald Trump, whose low-rated reality show “The Apprentice” was left off the new prime-time schedule unveiled this week by NBC, says the network can’t fire him — he quits.

The real estate mogul issued a statement on Friday saying he has informed the U.S. television network he is “moving on from ‘The Apprentice’ to a major new TV venture,” though he declined to elaborate.

There was no immediate comment from NBC.

“The Apprentice” debuted as a hit in 2004, averaging nearly 21 million viewers and ranking as the top-rated new TV show its first season. But the series dropped steadily in the ratings in successive years, losing nearly two-thirds of its original audience by the time it wrapped up its sixth installment last month.

The show’s future was cast into further doubt on Monday when the network announced a 2007-08 programming lineup that made no mention of Trump. But NBC executives refused then to absolutely rule out a reprieve once rival networks ABC, CBS and Fox had laid out their schedules for next season.

The statement from Trump’s organization seemed to spell a definitive end to the series.

“It looks like viewers will have to wait to see what Mr. Trump plans for the future,” the statement said. “But if Mr. Trump’s past TV success is any indication of the future, then one can anticipate that millions of ‘Apprentice’ fans will be migrating to his new venture.”

Trump and NBC still remain in the beauty pageant business together. The two announced in March a renewed deal to keep annual broadcasts of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, which Trump co-owns, on the General Electric Co.-controlled network through 2010.

Killers fan just may kill them.

The Killers drummer had to tell the crowd that the show was canceled after performing just two songs because the lead singers throat was seriously messed up.
The show was at Red Rocks in Colorado.

Reba and Kelly.

I admit I have a love for Reba. I don't actually purchase any of her music, nor Kelly's, but I listen to their music when it comes on, and I love Reba's tv show on the CW network.

On the Academy of Country Music Awards for 2007, Reba and Kelly did a beautiful duet of the song, "Because of You."
Reba has a new cd coming out called Duets, in which she does duets with all kinds of performers, and will be released on September 18th, 2007.

I totally had to edit this entry just minutes after writing it, because it violated copyright.
"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Dick Clark Productions, Inc."

Damn. Don't these people know that the more people who see the videos, hear the music, the more likely they are to purchase the products?
I was actually interested in the cd Duets, and I'm sure you all would have to, once you listened to this beautiful performance.

Alpha Dog
alpha-dog-poster-1.jpg

Alpha Dog is based on a true story about the life of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer who became one of the youngest men ever to be on the FBI's most wanted list.

With harrowing intensity, Alpha Dog dramatizes one of the most tragically notorious murders in recent history. Ripped from the headlines, writer-director Nick Cassavetes' flawed but riveting crime drama (a polar opposite to his previous film, the romantic hit The Notebook) is based on the real-life case of Jesse James Hollywood, a drug dealer in California's San Gabriel Valley who, in 2000, became one of the youngest men to appear on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. Names and details have been changed, but the criminal circumstances remain the same: With family links to organized crime, Johnny Truelove (Emile Hirsch) is on the warpath against Jake Mazursky (Ben Foster), a sleazebag addict who owes him money. Fate intervenes when Johnny and his stoner pals including Frankie (Justin Timberlake) encounter Jake's 15-year-old half-brother Zack (Anton Yelchin) and hold him as collateral until Jake pays his debts. What begins as a casual, seemingly harmless situation escalates into a crisis of capital crime, as Alpha Dog employs split-screen, docudrama, and mock-documentary interviews to chronicle a tragic tailspin of reckless events and lawless behavior.

I knew the circumstances of the real case, I knew the real life ending, but I kept hoping for a different outcome the whole way through.
The little brother Zack, is a likable kid, just wanting to help his big brother Jake out of a sticky mess, he has no idea what's going to happen to him until the very last minute.
His heart wrenching pleas for his own life, had me teary eyed, I just wanted this to not end in such a tragic way.

This is a really good movie, it's not for everyone though. There is a lot of drug use, violence and sex.
If true crime thrillers and action are your thing, Alpha Dog is a good choice.

I was really surprised by Justin Timberlake's performance.
He did much better than I thought he was going to.
I'm not a huge fan of his music, but I think he did a fine job as an actor.
